The Luni Bed and Breakfast,
opened in May 2003, speaks out and opens its doors to offer to
all those who would choose to be his guests, a
pleasant exploring of the natural beauty and culture of that
land border between Liguria and Tuscany also known
as "Lunigiana".
The Luni B&B is on the ground floor of a house located in a
quiet street in the Piano di Arcola; the owners, always available,
discreet and silent, are on the top floor. Parking is
private and fenced and guests can take with them the keys to
have the opportunity to return at the favorite time (the B&B entrance
is independent).
A hallway overlooks the kitchen and into a corridor where
you can find, in a free sample, a number of
brochures in various languages on the beauties,
curiosity, history, cuisine, events and the
particularities of our region and the Lunigiana in general.
If necessary, guests will be provided with schedules of
trains, buses and boats and may have borrowed their maps
necessary for any excursions.
Are also available for consultation on site, photographic books
and multilingual publications about interesting locations
(the Cinque Terre, Sarzana, Lerici and the Gulf of
Poets, the marble quarries of Carrara, the castles of Lunigiana etc.).
Among the curiosities, are very impressive the history
of 'Omo ar bozo' and a fun "Vocabulary of
Arcola", which will help you to understand some of the most
classic expression in the dialects of our country.
in the same hallway there is a facility for stereo reproduction based
on high-quality sound components, including a good English
school amp: the Creek Audio Systems CAS4040 and a
pair of Acoustic Research AR94 speakers, which will allow you to
enjoy your favorite music directly from those Compact Disc
you always carry with you (with the necessary discretion due to
any other single guest).
 
The breakfasts, tasty
and abundant, are served in the
kitchen between the
07.30 am and
10.30 am. You can enjoy typical products of
our region depending on the daily availability, in
example: the sweet rice cake (delicious local specialty),
the sweet cake of spinach (tasty and unusual!),
vegetables
salted cakes (the typical 'Scarpazza'), tasty
puddings and mousses, fruit and chocolate fondue,
Traditional and flavored honeys and handmade high quality jams in a varied assortment of flavors, both
known, both unusual and appetizing, and then croissant, pastry,
fresh bread with walnuts
seasoned and stuffed buns, charcuterie, etc.
etc.
 
Even younger children will enjoy a
comfortable accommodation for breakfast, a high chair and a
Security seat attachable to the table will allow young guests to
not remain isolated down to a normal chair or in a stroller or having to be kept, with low comfort for both, in Mom's or
Dad's arms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric kettle,
mocha coffee makers, microwave oven, stove with four burners,
classic oven, washing machine, dishwasher, dishes, pots,
pans, glasses, cutlery etc. and, in case of extended stays,
it can be granted in use for lunch and dinner.
  
The Luni B&B offers to its guests the opportunity to stay in
three spacious bedrooms soberly but comfortably
furnished and equipped with all the comforts that can be found in
accommodation well above the class: in fact, in every room, in addition to traditional heating radiators, there is
a system of air conditioning with heat pump that can
integrate the heating system during winter and
cool the room at the comfortable temperature you want during
hot summer nights, the rooms offer even a TV 21
inches that can receive terrestrial programs and is supported by a
Satellite Receiver Free-to-air driven on Hot Bird 13° East and
a DVD player if your children love to see a little of their favorite cartoon before
sleeping!

The rooms, a double, a triple and a quadruple one,
all with the ability to have a double bed, are
offering up to nine beds for adults and one for
a baby in an added cot "Chicco" brand.
The double room can be added with a children cot and
has the opportunity to have private bath (with shower).
The triple room, adjacent to the double room with which it can share
the toilets, offers two types of accommodation: double bed plus bed
added or three single beds.
The quadruple room offers accommodation in a double bed and a
single bed and a half (ideal for families) and has the
opportunity to have private bath (with tub).
In every room and for every guest, there is an individual set
composed of 3 towels: shower towel, normal towel and bidet towel.
  Your visit to Luni Bed & Breakfast is completed with the pictures of the two
spacious bathrooms, one of which is furnished with
a tub and the other has a shower.
Both services are large, bright, complete with an electric socket
interlocked with a circuit breaker to allow you to use your own
appliances (electric shaver, hairdryer,
electric toothbrush, etc..), there is also a wall hairdryer and, for the
safety of guests, the bathrooms are sanitized daily.
The services can be made for private use for stays of at least
two nights.
